Installation is easier than ever

The aroTHERM split heat pump system consists of two units. The heat pump for outdoor installation is set up in the garden, mounted onto the house wall or even the roof. We have the perfectly coordinated accessories for each installation type. The condenser is located in the uniTOWER, the indoor unit. The system is pre-filled with refrigerant. You can install the heat pump up to 15 metres away from the house without having to add more refrigerant. Because the cooling circuit is completed during installation and not before, you need proof of competence for refrigerants. The system is connected via pre-insulated, small-diameter pipes. Not having to open walls means work time is much shorter: typically, depending on the complexities of the system, two people can install an aroTHERM split system in one day.

Split technology: Something good made even better

The aroTHERM split is a highly efficient air-to-water heat pump available in many capacity ranges. However, the robust refrigerant split technology is new as well as extensive improvements and optimised details from which you and your customers will benefit many times over.

Operation: Quieter than ever

In normal operation, the aroTHERM split is already one of the quietest air-to-water heat pumps on the market. In the Night Mode’ setting, it’s even quieter. In this way, you can easily meet the strict night requirement of less than 35 dB(A) for residential areas. From just three metres away, the acoustic pressure level for aroTHERM split is 35 dB(A). The aroTHERM split is Quiet Mark certified, providing exceptionally quiet operation and allowing flexible siting options.

Capacity based on heating load

Operating an aroTHERM split system is especially efficient because the modulating compressor continuously adjusts the capacity based on the current building heating load. Reliable heat pump operation is ensured down to –25°C, and down to –7°C without any reduction in capacity. If demand for heat or hot water is greater, up to seven external units can be cascaded.

Commissioning according to plan

The aroTHERM split has an eBUS interface and can be set easily with our sensoCOMFORT or VRC 700 heating controls. With an installation wizard for easy set-up and weather compensation as standard, all controlled via a smart device, when installed with the VR920. From set up to commissioning: with the aroTHERM split, comfort begins at installation.
